    Primary Arms red dots

Just got my second Primary Arms red dot. Once again, the quality is waaaay more than what I paid. The first red dot sight I got from them was back is 2007, when I bought my first AR-15, pre-Hillary scare. It's an Aimpoint copy, and it is still on the original LR44 batteries. Holds zero, clear dot, and no fogging. Been very happy with it. The one I just this weekend is a Primary Arms MicroDot. I bought it to go on my 300BO build, but it's compact size led me to try it on my suppressed Buckmark. Perfect fit without the riser, and now I gotta buy a replacement for the 300BO. Uses a CR2032 battery rated for I believe 1000 hours.

I'm not saying that Primary Arms' red dots are the SAME gear as Trijicon, Aimpoint, etc., but for the money and for what most citizens out their equipment through, PA can't be beat. Better than the air soft gear and TruGlo, but without the cost of Aimpoint/Trijicon. I honestly don't see any quality difference between Primary Arms and Vortex, but Vortex probably has a few additional features.

    Thumbs up

Those look sweet. I've always looked at the red dots from them but never pulled the trigger. I have an Aimpoint CompML2 that the batteries have lasted over 10yrs. These seem worth a second look.

Primary Arms MD-ADS has 50K hour battery life. Yes, fifty thousand hours. Great optic.

They are good to go for sure. Love my micro dot. Had plans to use it to hold me over until I could get an Aimpoint but I've decided to roll with it for now.
