Another 100 FPS and 3x the barrel life.

But this is my first barrel with the BR throat. I gained 80 FPS with that and the switch from 4831SC to retumbo. I'll end up with a saum eventually.

I am happy with my 6.5SAUM. Only thing I don't like is how dirty the H1000 is with suppressor but the slow single based powder is what makes these cartridges shine in regards to barrel life. Your 6.5x284 with retumbo should have better barrel life than with hotter burning 4831.
