    Glock 40 mos owners

What style holster do you use while carrying in the field? The chest holsters look good to me but it doesn't look like I can simultaneously carry my binoculars also with my current bino harness. Any tips and pics would be greatly appreciated. Still debating the Glock 40 vs the Glock 20 but I think if I can find a reasonable chest holster or OWB paddle style holster, that the Glock 40 will be the choice.

95% of the time the gun will be used as a back up while hunting and only carried to and from the stand.

Also, what red dot sights are you running, and are the tall night sights actually usable looking thru the red dot, or are they a waste of money?

If you are carrying binos on your chest and a long gun I would suggest a thigh holster.

Check out Comptac holsters. I have one of their newer belt\paddle holsters for my 40 and it works well.

I use a BlackHawk holster. The one I use is for my Glock 21. Glock 40 fits good!

I'm using a crossdraw. Only carried afield a couple times but so far, so good. I may have a strap added to it eventually.

The optic I use is a Leupold Delta Point Pro. Started to get the smaller dot, but they were out of stock and Optics Planet offered the larger triangle type for a pretty good discount, so I use the apex of the triangle for my aiming point. I'm very happy with both the pistol and the sight. I also have a G20 but the eyes ain't what they used to be !

The pic above is a stock photo, not my gun, but the holster is the same as mine. All my hunting handguns are carried in crossdraw holsters as they are more out of the way when sitting in a utv, truck, stand chair, or wherever you are sitting. This is my actual pistol.
