Maybe try some quality grease and dry firing. My P229 has one of the nicest triggers on any handgun I've shot, especially in single action. It rivals some of my classic S&W revolvers.
Teddy Jacobson (actions by t) in Sugarland used to work on Sig P series pistols. Always read good reviews of his work but he is semi-retired but still takes on limited work. A Google search should get some contact into for him.

X2 on Teddy. He worked on a P238 for me that was really terrible from the factory. It was really rough & sloppy and hard to hold steady while trying to pull the trigger. He cleaned it up and now it's light, smooth and crisp.
