    Just Sayin'....

Sent a couple scopes to Leupold for repair/replacement.

    1st was a Redfield 6x18. BUT....

2nd was an M8 6x36 that was at least 35 years old and literally in 2 pieces.
I expected to pay something to replace or something. Absolutely NOTHING. New FX2 on the way to my door. I know there are possibly better, for sure more expensive and of course other companies that honor warranties and take care of their customers as well, but I am really impressed and it's not the first time with Leupold.

It makes my buying options easier.

They have replaced everything I have sent in. No questions asked.

Great customer service. Sent in a pair of old binos that the rubber coating had melted(?) on and they sent the newer, better version back.

I wonder if they would believe me if I claimed that the TS32X1 reticle in my scope degraded into a plain duplex and I need the TS32X1 reinstalled.

Do they warranty ol Redfield scopes or just the newer ones? I have one that was on my Dad's gun that is at least 40 years old that has gotten cloudy.

Is that worthy of a warranty

The only reason I'd want to fix it is to keep this rifle the same as it was on my Dads last hunt.

Understandable. There is another company thay services the older weavers and I think the redfield as well. Forget the name off the top of my head. Thought about sending them the old weaver off my .22 hornet. I'll try and remember.
