What's $100 difference? CE is about $175 and the jewel is about $210. The normal timney 510 is $125-135. But there's a huge difference in that and jewel
I bought my last Calvin(NEW)for $130ish to my door....Jewel $210 + tax = +/-$227 and maybe S&H for some additional coin, ALL that adds up to the ballpark difference in price I stated.
Jewell triggers have always been enclosed and built to extreme , precise tolerances
they become dusty, dirty, gritty, and gummy when you hunt in harsh weather conditions and don't clean the trigger .... rain, snow, windy dusty conditions , etc...
if you feel the slightest "grit". flush out the trigger with charcoal lighter fluid and it's clean again
totally abused trigger by someone neglecting their gun
This ^^^^^
I keep several bottles on my bench for many uses. Cheap and very effective.

jrg
Dang!! Where'd you find that CE that cheap? I want one haha
I also will mention that the example CB posted was more than likely due to poor cleaning techniques and a bore guide was probably not used. Looks like solution/oil fell down in the trigger group collecting grime over time.
Didn't mean to sound like I was against Jewell by any means. I have 4 Jewell triggers on bolt and AR rifles. I have also bought from Ryan Pierce and had good luck with his prices and CS.

How's that AR trigger? Didn't even know they sold one. How much was it
I had a two stage Jewell on a Les Baer AR...the gun was every bit as accurate as any of my bolts but had to be careful with the trigger shooting groups free recoil as it would go double tap if not using the reset like you should.
It had a no taper 24" bbl and would print double taps 1" apart.
$199 in stock if you've got a defiance or stiller or something that has a side bolt release.
Thanks for that link, brother! Exactly what I'm needing and it's cheaper than dropping by Jewell and picking one up, which is what I usually do. Funny how you can get them cheaper by ordering from an out of state dealer than going by the shop. Lol!
