Side Charging AR

Cool concept, but not for me.
Unless I were to sell all my AR's and strictly go side charger for all them, my muscle memory wont let me get used to this.
When seconds count...go with what you know!!

I would like to build one. The hate how the extended charging handle jabs me in the sternum when it's slung across my chest.

If it reciprocates, definitely not. And honestly with big latches on my charging handles, I don't see the benefit.

Right side or left?

As I see it if I need the charging handle my firing hand isn't busy so I'd rather have it on the right so I can stay on target with the left hand out front.

What say you?
