Winchester model 94 AE Trapper question.

I came across a Winchester model 94 AE trapper with saddle ring 16 in. barrel. It was purchased in 2006 and never shot, has box, papers and is a .38/.357. The gentleman says he would take 800.00. He bought and kept as a safe queen.

I am new to lever actions and am curious of the value and is this a solid deal. Are they good guns?

Love my trapper 44 mag. Point and aim like a bb gun. 800 seems a little steep to me ? Check gunbroker for market value

I have the Marlin 1894 with 16" barrel in .357 and absolutely love it. I would grab that one for sure.

I love mine in 44 mag. Fastest most natural point I have ever felt on a rifle and the peep sights are surprisingly accurate.
