I've been using my AR in .223 for the last year. I put it together using Palmetto State and waiting for sales. The only premium part on the rifle is a timney trigger. Glass is a Leupold Mark AR 3-9x40.

Primary is Remington 700 in 243 with an SWFA 3-15x42 in a Stocky's LR stock. Caller is a Foxpro CS-24 on a short tripod.

And this see a fair amount of use too, CZ-527 in 223. Sometimes I shoot a Savage 25-06 as well.

Going to try and upgrade my glass to the swfa 10x42 sometime in the summer.
Also, Is there a benefit to having the call on the tripod?

I use either a 22-250 or 220 Swift. For light I use a Lightforce for long distance and Cyclops hand held for closer work. The call I'm using is a Foxpro Shockwave.

A couple of benefits to having the call on a tripod. It gets the caller up where the sound travels better, and it also gives better range/reception with the remote since the remote is line of sight. Plus to me it is easier to set up on stand as well. My CS-24 is one of the originals, the newer ones have a better remote.

This was not quite a $30k cat, he weighed right at 28.5 lbs. Need one just a little bigger in a couple of weeks and 5 dogs to keep him company.

I've shot more with a Rem 700 308 than any other rifle, however, my predator primaries are Win 70 CRF 25-06 Classic Sporter in a Bell and Carlson thumbhole stock with a Zeiss conquest 3-9x40.

FoxPro FX3 still putting in work

                          And

Just sighted in yesterday my Colt A3 HBAR Elite with Springfield Armory 4-14x40 rangefinding scope in a Colt mount.

Only pic I have of the Winchester.

                              Predator/varmint setups

I've got a plethora of rifles I use. It kill 60-70% with my Win SX3 12ga shotgun with 3" T-shot Dead Coyote. I run the call for my team so that shotgun really is the easiest for me and I'm good out to 65yds.

If not using the shotgun I'm usually using:

                              .204 Ruger CZ 527 American
                              .223 AR w/ 11.5"bbl suppressed
                              6.5 Creedmoor suppressed
                              .260 Remington suppressed
                              25 wssm suppressed
                              .300 Blackout 8.3" suppressed

We use Nite Hunter flashlights and inexpensive Knoxx headlamps in red.

FoxPro Shockwave and Fury calls with Tony Tebbe sounds

Homemade 2 seat truck rack - goes in any one of our trucks.

Kryptek & Kuiu camo and some very old leafy wear.

Easy Chair seats for all our daytime hunting.

                              BogPod shooting sticks

Feathers on monofilament line, hanging from a stiff piece of wire - best decoy ever!

Here's the current one. AAC-SD 16.5" barrel. I've had the 20" version, 2 different SPS Tacticals and a SPS Varmint.

My DD MK18 5.56 has a few kills as well.
