Found one just taken in at a pawn shop so it was not for sale or priced yet. What would be a good price for a ruger number 1 international in 30-06?

That would depend on condition, but they're not cheap any where I've seen them. Gunbroker will tell you what they're selling for.

It was in really good condition and very nice wood too.

It's worth a lot. But that pawn shop didn't give much for it. And that's not where people will look for such a gun. They probably didn't give $250 for it.

is it a red pad? i've bought 2 of my #1's at pawn shops last one I bought was in 6mm and the other in .270 but I've never killed anything with them I only hunt with my 22-250 and have for the last 20 years, but I cant pass one up at a good price.
