Don't go the terra route. They shat the bed trying to budget down their line IMO

You can snag a used older conquest in 3-9 for 275-325 roughly which I would recommend sir

I have a Zeiss Conquest before the Terra line. It is pretty good. If you can find one in good shape, then jump on it.

[QUOTE=bman940;12024253]After 10+ years of using having the same scopes on my 2 favorite rifles I finally traded up. It was kind of a no brainer and already paid off! I just put a Nikon MONARCH 5 3-15x42ED SF Advanced BDC for my left handed .300 Win and a MONARCH 5 4-20x50ED SF with Custom XR Turret for my left handed .257 WbyMag. The ED glass on these two scopes is outstanding. I have already harvested a very nice Kansas Buck and Doe with the .300 Win.

I'll be airing the .257 Wby out on a coyote hunt in 2 weeks, I can't wait!

TexMax, I stumbled into that Left hand Hill Country Rifle at my first Dallas Safari Club Show over 20 years ago. Crazy good deal I couldn't pass up, especially being left handed. I have taken deer all over the US and Canada with it and never need more then 1 shot. It shoot's 190 gr. Hornady bullet's sub MOA but if you try 180 gr. anything, 1 inch +. I'll be adding on of Nikon's Custom Turret's to this scope and the one on my .257 Wby as soon as it warms up and I find my chrono. There's a reason Hill Country has been around for such a long time, they make a great product at a fair price, IMHO.

Leupold vx3's, swaro z3, Zeiss conquest, trij tr22, Nikon monarch, plus some lower end stuff. For the money, vx3 is a solid choice. I like the swaro better, but it's twice the money. I love the trijicon (on my elk rifle),

I have Nifghtforce NXS 3.5-15x50s, Leupold VX6s 3-18x50s & 3-18x44, Leupold VXRs (for ARs), Vortex Viper HS-T 4-16x44, SWFA SS 3-15x42 and some Nikon monarchs on rim fires.

The SWFA is new and giving me fits - class is absolutely horrible and will not get clear with any amount of adjustment. I'm hoping it's a dud and I'm going to be contacting SWFA today. I can not recommend their scopes right now but they have a good reputation; so, I'm hopeful they'll make it right.

Hope you get things straightened out with SWFA. I'm thinking I'll end up with a leupold, not sure which one yet but we'll see.

My uncle, who was one of the best shots I have ever known, hunted all over the place with a fixed 6 power Burris on a Remington BDL in 6mm...that combo was lethal in his hands!

I've made my choice, Leupold VX3i 3.5-10X50 with cds dial. Also going to have our hashtag put on the right side of the objective housing through their custom shop. Cant wait to get this thing built!

Leupold VX-3. 3-10x 40mm. That thing has never let me down. Never fallen off zero in the 5 years I've had it. I've even dropped it on the scope, on the rocks in the hill country. Still held zero.

I have seen glass that lets in more light (50mm for instance) but this one has served me well for all those 100-125 yard shots I made. Now it sits on top of a $200 .243 and my 11 year old son uses it. I am usually sitting next to him with a pair of Cascades (8x42) and it is nice that I know he can see what I am looking at with more clarity.

Hoping to get the same results out of mine when I get it, so many good reviews I couldn't pass up on getting one!

My favorite is my Zeiss Conquest 3X9X40 with the Zplex 600 reticle. Sits on my Remington 700 Ti in 7mm SAUM. I have a Leupold Vx3 4.5-14X40 on a Remington 700 CDL in 7/08 another Leupold on my AR, one on my A bolt in .270, a bushnell on my .257, a Tasco on my CZ 527. I don't remember what else I got.
