Vortex HS-T scope

Anyone have experience with this scope? I picked up a Tikka T3 in 7mm rem mag for $400 to set up as a lightweight longrange gun. I'm looking at these and the Leupold for a under $1000 scope. Don't want SWFA. Just missed out on the VX-6 scope with CDS/windplex sale for $949

Nothing specific to that optic but I highly recommend any vortex optics. Great customer service and warranty. Optics have all done me well from their lower price range to their higher ends.

They had it on sale at Cabela's around Halloween then it disappeared while I was in NM hunting. Then I saw it pop up yesterday again for one day and got ready to order it last night and it was gone again. Hunting the web hard during Xmas holiday to see if they put it up again. Heck of a deal!!

Yep glass is unbelievably clear. My seekins rings should be in my mail box when I get home from work. Pretty excited to get this one mounted up.

vortex is a good buy. ive got an hs-t. its decent glass. good turrets. my requirements were :moa reticle, moa dials, exposed turrets: under 1000. very few options that meet those reqts and the hst did not disappoint. if you dont need exposed turrets, id look at the nightforce shv line. they have models under 1000 and imo they have the best glass under $1000

Its a great scope but just be sure you keep the warranty card. You will get to use it fairly often. But its one of the perks of having a vortex scope.

The leupold vx-6 cabelas has for $849 is a way better scope for not too much more money
