    AR Accuracy

Where do the experienced builders place the most importance for ultimate accuracy?

    Quality upper? Which ones?
    Quality lower? Which ones?
    Barrel? Which one?

        #1 is Barrel - $100 - >1.5", $300 - 0.5", >$300 - <0.5"
#2/3 is your trigger and scope

For barrels, there are several good ones. I bought a Black Hole Weaponry and am in the 0.5-0.7" range.

.5 MOA at least with handloads.

          Timney or better trigger assumed.

Read something a few days ago talking about where to put the money for accuracy. Everything that is along the bore.. Barrel, BCG, buffer/spring, FCG. Optics go without saying

All about the upper with the most important part being the barrel. A good trigger helps a lot but you can be super accurate with a horrible trigger. If the barrel is bad there isn't anything that can be done.

Bboswell I have an RGUNS.net upper. They use a Wilson barrel and Yankee Hill parts when they build their uppers. Mine shoots way better than I can. No ftf and no jams with any ammo I've used, even steel.

Right now I'm sitting on a stock polymer trigger, but really want to drop in a good light crisp one. Then, this will be my go to hunting rifle

Pulled that off from a $170.00 AR Stoner Barrel and JP 3-4lb Trigger using boxed ammo.
