Suppressor question

Asumming all your paperwork ducks are in a row, can you make your own suppressor? Prices for what they are seem ridiculous. Guess some of the cost could be red tape bs if it takes special certification.

I'll pay extra for them to manufacture it correctly rather then me throwing something together and them provide the warranty if something goes wrong.

My question is can you make one accurate enough for precision rifle shooting...? Without a basic set of Machinist skills and a lathe or mill...?

What would the premium components cost including a Titanium tube...?

I bet I can handle it.

Been a machinist for 30 years. All areas of machine work. Access to everything needed, material, machine, and skill set. But don't ask me.to run electricity, that crap is scary.

Ok. I dont throw things together. As far as machine work, compared to my normal work, supressor tolerances are WFO.

Agreed, with a little research you should easily be able to handle that.

Heck with a little more research you could build your own custom rifles. It's not rocket surgery.

I have one that im building.... Been working on it for a few years just. Just need a little bigger lathe.

materials are cheap... if you have the machinery you can do it no problem...

Research a form 1 build. A few on here have already done form 1 builds but I think most were for SBR's. Process should be similar if not the same.

It's all fun and games until somebody's face gets blown off by a homemade suppressor.

I'll choose not to be cheap and buy from someone who's done the R&D and testing.
