    Winchester 9422 value

Need help with figuring the value of my rifle. I have looked on gunbroker and other websites the numbers are all over the place. Also there arent many that have the same features mine do. I do plan on listing this on here for sale as soon as I can figure out a price range.

    Model 9422
    19" barrel
    Blued/case hardened receiver
    Excellent condition
    Approx 100 rounds

When you look at the online sites go to the advanced option and then pick completed auctions . It will give a realistic result of actual sold guns , whereas the list prices , as you saw , are all over the place . I am nearby in Fulshear if you just want to bring it over and save you the trouble of having to sell it

      I'll give you $50.

      Ok, how about $100.

In all seriousness that is a beautiful gun. Let me know how much you want for it when you decide to sell.

            Around $2000 I'd imagine.

Where did you get this number? Seems really hughbut idk about one with that finish.

I'm interested in hearing what price you come up with. I've seen from $400 to 1500 for some special editions.

I saw one in like new condition on Guns America that had the same finish and everything that was $1800 so I figure that gun has to be pretty close to that.

10-4. That's good money but they have gotten high the last few years. I've wanted a shooter grade 94/410 but folks think they are gold haha

I have one almost identical to this one. Mine belonged to my grandfather (who passed before I was born). I burned many rounds walking my grandmother's farm as a kid. She gave this gun to me before she passed. Beautiful gun by the way. I can't offer much help answering your question. I wish you luck though!

I know what you mean. My uncle bought one a few years ago and it was ridiculously expensive. Or I thought so until I shot it. That is one sweet shootin little gun.

Well after more research I found out it is a Texas edition which explains the TEX prefix on the serial number. Looks like 500 were made in 22lr and 500 made in magnum. Still working on the value. If any of this information helps, please weigh in.

I've got one in the 22Lr, and also the 22 Mag.

                          Love those little guns.

Don't know about the value, other than probably over $800 since they don't make them any more!

I don't know if this is true, but here's some info I found:

Those with the odd serial numbers were a special order from CDNN Investments and were originally priced at $439. The shorter Trapper versions bring the most money now usually.

These CDNN "TEX" case-colored 9422's were produced in 500 units EACH of 4 styles, "1TE***x" being the 20" 22LR, "2TE***x" the 20" 22Mag, "3TE***x" the Trapper 22lr, and finally "4TE***x" the Trapper 22Mag. There were also case-colored 9422's produced for Acusport which had conventional serial numbers. Don't know what variations, if any, the Acusport models were produced in other than the 20" 22LR.

One gentleman posted (back in 2009): Anyway, the prices that I have seen since for these 9422s ($1,200-$1,500) is why I would like to find out more about this special run. Winchester finally responded to my inquiry and confirmed that these were a limited production run for CDNN in 2004 but that's all I have been able to find out so far.

To add, I myself have 2. A 9422 and a 9422m. They are safe queens for when my kids get older. I just need 1 more for my youngest.
