Inherited my grandfathers model 1100. 12 gauge full choke squirrel killing machine.
killed a lot of ducks with #4 lead shot back in the day. Gun I used to kill my first deer.

Wow, I didn't know I was such an out-lyer here... I've owned 2 of them, one being a left handed limited edition... the other was standard righty... Never did like 'em and they pretty much soured me on spaz-matics for 30 years... always jammin' and cumbersome to operate, having to "push the little button on the bottom plate to make a shell go in...

I know they have to be good guns, too many folks like 'em... I'm just not in that crowd...

Now those old Wingmaster 870's... I had 4 of the old ones, 12 and 20 gauge both left and right handed with fixed choke barrels (lots of barrels too for each... full/mod/ic for 'em). could not get left hand screw in choke barrels for 'em so traded all of them in on BPS's... Love the BPS's but DANG I hate I traded in those Wingmasters!! Worst gun deal I ever did!

Glad for you OP on the deal you found. Hope it works out for you too!

Never owned one but followed quite a few around on the sporting clays course. I always called em Jammingtons.
