I have an opportunity to buy a H&R Handi rifle in like new condition for $200. It's a 308 hvy barrel laminate stoke model. Don't know much about them but I've heard good things. What say the GS?

Good deal... all 5 of my kids began with that rifle. $150-$200 is a SMOKIN deal, especially for the laminate and heavy barrel.

Here's one in .308 with a heavy barrel that I cut down and coated a few years back.
The Handi rifles are built like tanks. Not tac-drivers, but good dependable guns and excellent guns to teach fundamentals with for kids. Makes them appreciate, respect, and value the first and only shot....

They are great accurate rifles for the money,compared to the junk single shot Rossi's.You can't go wrong on it for $200,espically with the Heavy barrel & laminate stock.Comment
