Sig Sauer Kilo 2000 Rangefinder - worth it?

I'm thinking about getting a new range finder for ranging deer out to 600-800yds and targets out to 1200. I can get a Sig Sauer Kilo 2000 for $329, tonight. Wondering if anyone has used them and if they like them?

I'm using an older Leupold RX1000i TBR and it fails on ranging deer out around 400-500yds ALL THE TIME! SO annoying. Plus, the reticle is huge and way too bright and it, along with the 6x magnification, makes ranging difficult. I have it mainly for bowhunting but I need something with significantly more range for my scouting and for my own personal hunting/shooting. I can't afford a G7 BR2 and the Leica's are $200 more than these Kilo 2000's. Sure could use some good words towards the Kilo, if they're warranted.

    Are they good or over-hyped?

Yup. Borrowed friends on my 2500 range. Marked hand held out to 1800 first mark. Might wanna wait for 2400 model coming out with Applied Ballistics. Guessing it will be around $1000.00

I have one I haven't opened yet I would sell you for $320 shipped if you decide to get one. We have two others and they're excellent range finders.

I wish. But, if I could afford that I think I'd push through to to G7. I'm going to try the K2000 along with iStrelok and the WeatherFlow. Maybe one day I can save up enough for the G7 or that K2400 if it turns out to be all that. Besides, I think I can get most of the $329 back out of a K2000 since it retails for over $500. So, it seems like a good investment.

I have one, and have ranged past 1800 with it. I have been extremely happy with it, and would definitely recommend it.

If you paid $19.99 for anything other than overnight shipping on just that rangefinder you should feel like a sucker

Cabelas had it for $349 and I have a $20 off code. I took up kae006's offer and I'm buying his extra- I canceled my Cabelas order. If it's still on sale and you, or someone else, wants my $20 Cabela Bucks code, I'll be happy to give it to you. Keith is doing me a favor so I'd like to help someone out in return. I'm about done with Cabelas. They sent me a couple $20 Cabelas Bucks coupons but you can't use more than one discount code. So, it was either $20 off item price or $19.95 off shipping - you couldn't get free shipping and use your Cabela Bucks. That's BS in my book. It was still a better deal than other stores, but not by much. Buying in-store is ok but their online CS SUX!!! I think they've gone way downhill and they've been less than helpful on some major purchases I've made. Grrrrrrrr!!!
