    Buffer spring issue?

Ran my AR at the range this weekend and everything was good to go. Putting it away before work this morning I noticed it was extremely difficult to charge the bcg. It seemed as if the spring was stuck and wouldn't move backward.

I break it down and this pops out once I have the buffer spring about half way out of the tube.

I put it back together and have it a function test, it seemed fine.

    Anyone seen this?

That kind of looks like one end of the spring where it is flattened out. It could have caused it to bind up. Pull the spring and look at the ends.

I'll have to pull it tomorrow and check for sure. Just thought it was pretty weird

End of the coil broke, it happens. Reverse the spring (flip it around) and it will work fine until you can replace it. Yes, replace.

Unless it broke off the rear for some odd reason. Put the good end on the buffer.

            Buffer spring issue?

Called Aero and practically before I could even get out that I had a buffer spring issue they offered to send another one. It's on its way
