We leave Wednesday for our cow hunt. Will be using my 6.5x284 with 140 gr Amax for the second year. It's a hammer. Loving it. Congrats!

I don't believe it, according to some on here you need a minimum of 416 Rigby to kill an elk. JK/ I too shoot a 6.5-284 a lot and love it. Congratulations

It's been on bucket list for us. This was wife's 1st hunt trip out of state so she's off to good start Next year she's got the bull tag and already ready to go
