Scope ring height on CZ 527 - need help

I'm going to put a SWFA 3-16x42 30mm tube on my CZ .204 and I'm not sure what ring height to order. I was going to order Leupold medium height but I read something about the 527 having issues with the bolt knob catching on some scopes or getting so close that your thumb/finger gets in the way - or some crud like that. Anyway, lots of interweb comments about needing high rings. Just wondering if anyone has a 527 and has mounted a 42mm objective scope with a 30mm tube on it, and can give me some advice on ring height? I like my scopes to sit as low as possible.

    Anyone?

Trying to get some bought during this weekend's sale.

CZ 452,453,455 and 527 models all suffer somewhat with bolt handle/scope clearance. This as you know can be helped with going with higher rings. The 527 does have a replacement recontoured handle available from CZ and does give more ocular bell clearance.

I have a Swarovski with 50mm tube mounted on my 527 Kevlar with factory high rings and it's fine but the scope has a 1" tube.

This is my 527 American with a Burris 4.5x14 42mm 1" scope. It has the factory CZ rings and the scope just clears the barrel. The bolt opens and closes with minimal clearance also.

Any clue on the height of those factory rings?

About 5/8" from top of receiver to bottom of scope tube, if that helps.

You are probably going to have to run high rings on yours. To help get a nice cheek weld look at getting a raised cheek pad to add. I had to do this on my american
