I just ordered a package "deal" from a local gun shop for the wife for an early Christmas present. Got a ruger American predator 6.5 creedmore mounted with a loupold 3x9x40 vxr. Was about 100 more than doing the online hassle but they threw in a couple boxes of Hornady superformance to sweeten the deal. I have a vxr on a 243 and it has been a great scope for the wife and kids. Especially shooting hogs in low light.
I cant wait to sneak off and go sight her in!

X3 on the VXR! I love them for a budget scope on 6.5 and smaller caliber's where LR is not a goal. I have a couple on rifles for my wife and kids.

Your wife will LOVE that setup! My wife shoots a Creedmoor but upgraded to a VX6 last year, from a VXR. She absolutely loves it.
