    Sierra reload manual info needed

Ok I have built a 6.5 Grendel (264 LBC) and have several hundred Sierra prohunter 120 grain bullets. Wondering if someone with a Sierra manual could advise if they list loads for the Grendel and if so what powders for the 120s. Maybe a cell picture or something if someone is willing. If not I've got 2 full boxes of 123 SST and Amaxes. Thanks

I won't be back home till Sunday but I have the newest edition Sierra manual. If you are wanting to load this weekend I can get my son to take a pic for you tomorrow.

No rush at all. Just getting stuff together to see if I have everything or if that manual even lists that caliber. Thanks

Unfortunately, 6.5 Grendel (and 6.5 Creedmoor, and 6.8 SPC, and .300 AAC, and....) are not in the current Sierra manual.

I've written to Sierra in the past and they have sent me PDF's of sheets for .300 AAC and 6.8 SPC. The odd part is that they are labeled as coming from the 5th (V) edition, but they are not in the 5th edition.

I love using Sierra bullets, but their reloading manual has not been updated since 2003 (5th edition)! I've asked many times when the 6th edition was going to come out. It's one of the only questions Sierra hasn't answered. Everything else, their Ballistic Technicians reply to (reloading data, general questions, etc...).

I'd log onto their site and send them a message. I'd bet they send you a copy of that particular caliber... and I'd bet it has the 5th edition label at the top of the page.

        All the best,
        Glenn

Cajuntec thanks for that info as I had a sneaky suspicion that it wouldn't be in there. I appreciate the responses.

Email them and they will send it to you. I asked if the 280AI was in the latest manual and they emailed me several pages.
