What a gorgeous day yesterday was. My nephew is in pilot training at Laughlin in Del Rio and was able to get away for the weekend.
He put a scout scope on his Socom16 and wanted to put a few rounds down range. I had a new scope put on my 22-250 and needed to dial in a new hunting round. Had a great time and feel like I've narrowed it down to three different brands of ammo.
I need to get out one more time though. We were shooting next to a guy with a 30.06 that had a muzzle brake and it was a bit tough to concentrate at times. The concussion from his gun would literally make my gun jump off target.
