How much to get o/u barrels threaded for chokes?

I'm contemplating buying an older Beretta o/u for my wife to get into sporting clays with. The gun has fixed barrels. Approximately how many dollars would i be looking at to get Briley to thread the barrels for chokes? Any help will be appreciated. Will be calling Briley on Monday. Just curious. Thanks.

I'm gonna wild guess.....$250-$350....+ the cost of the chokes....

I think I paid about 200 to get thinwalls in my A5 with 3 chokes so I would guess twice that on an OU.

I would start out with her shooting it as is. Nothing wrong with fixed chokes for clays. Another option that you could do is just get the chokes opened up some.

You know, that's a really good thought. No need to go all out to begin with. Really good thought.

Possibly so, but that depends primarily on what the barrels are choked. Hard to say it doesn't matter for clays without knowing what they are choked.

$449 with 5 chokes is the standard answer. As always, there are some variables. Here ya go.

depending on the thickness of the barrel I've heard of people having issues with the barrel cracking after having older shotguns threaded
