Browning 16 gauge Automatic

Only have the barrel. How do I determine if it came off a Standard 16 or a Sweet 16? Or is there no difference?

Not familiar with Browning.

There is rust on it after sitting in a shop for decades. Found a box of JC Higgins shells and wondered where the gun was at. Later found just the barrel.

Barrel will fit either gun.

There should be 3 holes in the barrel ring for it to be off of a sweet 16.
