What's a Remington 28 gauge skeet useful for?

Never fired it. Think it's an 1100.

Where's a less expensive source for shells? I'm going to try and thin out some cottonmouths with it soon. Should be good for that.

The best quail caliber out there in my opinion. You can find 7 1/2 -9 shot shells for about $8 dollars per box. I buy mine at Sportsmans Warehouse up here in Casper.
I also use my 28 gauge for pheasant as well. I rarely shoot my 12 gauge any more.

Little light for pheasant for me but agree with the rest. Really nice shooting shotgun. Starting using it after eye surgery because it has low recoil but effective. Should smack a snake.

It's a useless snake gun, let me take it off your hands!

Until someone stole my 870 it was the best dove and bird gun I ever had. 25 in. skeet barrel if I recall correctly. I always shot 9's. Used 7 1/2 for ducks on a little beaver pond and for rabbits and squirrels.

It's a better gun than to just use for shooting snakes.

It's worthless. I'll take it off of your hands.

I absolutely love shooting a 28g shotgun. I was in a pawn shop years ago and they had a Weatherby 28g O/U and a Browning 28g O/U and they wanted $900 each and I talked myself out of buying them. Regretted that day ever since!

I'll let y'all know should I decide to sell it. Gotta pop some nasty cottonmouths first. Haven't had a chance to get after them yet.

Yeah, it would be a neat gun...my first shotgun was an 870 wingmaster 28

My first shotgun was a 28 gauge, I kinda wish my Dad never sold it. Knocked down loads of quail with that thing

My snake gun of choice is my Taurus Judge with 410 8 shot shells!
