Would like to see your review of it once you get to play with it some, I have one on order as well...but also probably wont get it until next year.

So you guys that are still waiting on a form-4 from Jan, I would call ATF and check. Reason being, my little horror story I am about to relate to you.

I filed on my 4th suppressor early in Jan, right after 41F was announced, and about a week after a friend of mine filed on 2 more. Both of my friends came back approved in late June, right on par with what NFA tracker was showing at the time, maybe a little early. I went to call ATF to check on mine, and they had changed the recording from "If it hasn't been 5 months call back when it has been" to "If it hasn't been 6 months wait until it has been." So I hung up and waited another month, since I wasn't sure exactly when my check had been cashed.

I waited until the third week in July, and called again. When I talked to the lady she said they had no record of that serial number for my suppressor. I asked her what that meant, and she said I needed to call my dealer because the paperwork had never been filed. So I called my dealer. The dude who had been working there when I filed mine had screwed up a whole bunch of things and got fired over it. That really surprised me because I had already received three cans back from him with no problems. Anyways, I guess he had screwed up, and put the same serial number on two different form-4's. So that meant both got disapproved (and how is this for a kick in the nutz) on July 13th, the day 41F went into effect. The other form-4 they were able to fix, because it actually had the right serial number on it. But mine had the wrong serial on it, so I had to start the process all over.

Not only did I have to start over, but now under new post-41F rules, getting fingerprints and photos for everyone on my trust. Serious PITA. I just now got all of that all sorted out and paperwork mailed back in on the resubmit. I will have my Specwar 556K I submitted in May waaaay before I get my second Omega that I originally submitted in Jan. By the time this is all said in done it might be a 18-24 month form-4 approval.

Don't just take your dealers word on things, call and verify.

Best guess based on your check clearing is about 160-180 days (on e-filed forms)

This. Use NFA Tracker, and upload your data. It's a great resource.

Just so you know guys, this one took over 7 months. The one I submitted on Jan 4th (3 weeks before the Hybrid) took less than 6 months.

Instead of digging up a thread that's over a year old, why don't you post your question in this thread so all the relevant information stays in one place.
