Best 300 blk out SBR upper??

Well i am working on getting a trust and ordered a lower and now i need a 10.5 inch 300 blk out upper. Im getting a sbr stamp and then will go to form 4 stamp. Im looking for a pretty decent upper and wondering if someone has some suggestions on who to get one from right now. I want to make sure its a pistol length gas system . Thanks for any help guys

Build your own. I use aero precision for almost everything on receivers. Barrels can come from a number of places, for my 300blk I used a premium model from rainier precision. Get you an adjustable clamp on gas block and a pistol length gas tube. Then just select the hand guard you want, I see you posted about a form 4 so I'm gonna guess you want to put a suppressor on it, if that's the case I really like the transition from barrel to suppressor to happen just barely inside the hand guard. I think it creates a better look, but be careful not to have the can too far under the hand guard or it will get hot!

AAC or noveske make a really great upper. I build my own but if i was going to buy a good complete upper i would go with one of those.

I'm building one on a Spikes upper, BCM bcg, adjustable block, and 8.5" barrel. Will be suppressed....if the ATF would ever get off their butts and get me my stamp

Here's what I built:

Spikes upper
Spikes BCG
Noveske 8.5" 300 blackout out barrel
Free 7" aluminum handguard

Lower consists of:
RRA lower
RRA lower parts kit with 2 stage trigger
VLTOR EMOD Milspec

It shoots cheap Remington OTFB 120gr 2000fps easily under an inch (and I'm no marksman). I'm upgrading to some 110's TAC-TX Barnes this yr for deer hunting, everything else gets the cheap Remingtons.

I'm building another one right now (for me since the wife has taken my other 300 over) but it has:
Aero Precision Upper
Colt National Match Marine hard chromed BCG
IT WILL BE GETTING ANOTHER Noveske 8.5" barrel
Havent decided on a handguard, but I'd like 7.5" slim one...
Spikes lower with CMMG lower parts kit
POF trigger
Magpul UBR

I'm also waiting on 2 Form 1's aaaaaaand I'm building another 6.5 Grendel too.

Those are very nice set ups, thanks for the info. So I was wanting a total length of about 16inches after suppressor . So with that being said I was focusing on a 10.5 inch upper with pistol length gas system. Does the 8.5 work pretty nice? whats your total length? How much does the 8.5 noveske barrel run you think? thanks for any info

Spikes tactical makes complete 10" 300BO uppers. My buddy has one and it runs everything from subs to supers. With or without a suppressor. I am building my own with a 8.5 inch barrel, but if I was going to buy complete the spikes would definitely get a look. If I didn't already have a bunch of money tied up in receivers and cerakote and ATF forms for that 8.5, I would also look hard at the PWS complete upper. I have one in 5.56 (12.5") also waiting on form and I am really impressed with the fit and finish on it. Kinda wish I would have just bought their 9" and saved myself all the trouble of finding parts and putting them together.

Noveske barrel will be in the 400 ball park.

OAL will depend on your suppressor. My 12.5" with QD Omega with flat cap is just a tad longer than a 16" with flash hider. So at 10.5 you would be right there. But not all cans are the same length. Blackout shines in short barrels, 8.5 is about perfect to get full powder burn so that's what I went with.
