    .22 Lr scope????

Just bought a 64F Savage .22 Lr semiauto. Scope suggestions?

it's likely more than you want to spend but look for a used vari-x 3-9x33 EFR...a little overkill, but it's really nice to focus in clearly on objects way up close.

You will be wanting to get a quality bolt gun to put it on!!

Appreciate it. I didn't know I needed a .22 until I went to a buddy's place and was told to shoot every rabbit I saw. Dang, that was fun!!!

If you want some more power, I have a Nikon Buckmaster 3-9 matte with duplex I'll sell for $100 shipped if it has any interest. Looks new.

Only thing about the EFR is the AO allows you to focus really close, but most 22 shooters really don't use them for your application.

For a .22 you need a scope with the parallax set at 50 yds, or an adjustable one. Makes a difference. look at the Nikon rimfire series.

I have old 4X Weavers on all my 22's. Simple.

Like Artos said, you cannot beat a vari-x 3-9x33 EFR. I have one on both my 22lr and 17hmr. Love 'em both!

Nikon 4x .22 or there variable power is good, I like the 50 or 60 yard parallax. Also look at shotgun scopes.

I have a Nikon ProStaff Target EFR 3-9x40 with AO on my Ruger RMR. Its a nice little scope for 22lr.

                        Swarovski Z3

I would say Z5 but it might be overkill on the magnification

                        Yes it's a joke

I just got this in the mail today. Fixed 4 power so leas things to break. Plus, the price was right. This replaces a 20 yr old tasco scope.
