    700 extraction problem

I've got a Remington 700 that when fired it will not extract case from chamber. If I reclose the bolt and lock it it will pull the spent case everytime. What would cause this.

I had a 700 do something. Similar. Took it to Shilen and they said it wasn't chamfered correctly from Remington. Removed the barrel, put on lathe, redid the chamfer properly, reinstalled everything all for $0. Great folks over there!!!! Fixed my problem.
    Reloads or factory ammo?
Does it do it with all different ammo?
    Barrel cold or hot?

Yep. I was expecting to pay about $150 because it took about 1.5hrs. For those not familiar w/Shilen, they've made some of the best barrels for years & are located in Ennis. They have a ton of championships under their belts, though I don't think too many lately.

            Sounds like headspace issues

Guys at Alamo Precision are top notch. Stick1 took time out of his Sunday to walk me through a few things to look at on a gun he didn't build. I don't think there is better customer service out there.
