    New Weatherby Vanguard "Weatherguard" mode

Just found out about this model. It is around $575 on Bud's. I like the black/grey stock (the old stocks were greenish and also nice) and the cerakote is a nice touch.

I've owned two of the regular Vanguard S2's and still have one in 223. Anyways, if I needed a new gun for a good price I'd consider this. They aso have some short actions in a carbine version that look pretty handy.

Howa makes the actions for Weatherby, but they don't offer left handed either. They've been coming out with a lot of different rifles lately though, so it might be worth contacting them to see if a lefty is in the works.

I've got a .243 Vangaurd that does. It's sub MOA with the Hornady Whitetail.

I shot them an email. I'll paste the response when I get it.

Looked at a CVA hunter 223. At Academy. All them, were really tight to break open & trigger release for the break..Had stuck really bad...but I've read their great little gun

You could look at the the standard Vanguard in full length or carbine in 223 for around $500.
