Mixing "dispose of" powders - Question

I'd never mix powders to load. That's not what this is about.

I had an empty container a while back, and I used it to store some powder I dumped from some pull-down loads (unknown load-out - so I dumped them). I intended to empty it later that week, but didn't for some reason - I think weather. A while later, I pulled down some more that someone had given me. I didn't even think about it, and just started a "pull down powder" container - mixing various powders for disposal.

It's a plain black Winchester powder container that I removed the original label from and put a white label on it that says, "Pull Down Powder - Do Not Use!" I planned on dumping it when I had more than just a little in it.

Tonight got me thinking... Can anything bad happen (chemical reaction causing fire, etc...) by mixing different types of powders in the same container?

I did a Google search for it, but all that keeps popping up is warnings not to mix powders for actual loading.

    All the best,
    Glenn

I've never heard of a reaction like that. I generally dislike the idea of contaminated powder sitting around so I tend to dump it on the flower bed every time I get pull down powder.

Won't hurt a thing. I do it to and when the container gets full I take it outside, empty it in a pile and set it off

I save it up and then use it to enhance the flight capabilities of the rockets when we shoot off fireworks.
