i go to texas gun and ken does hook me up (he has a bunch of goodies in the back for regular customers) but it's never on the shelf at academy and such.. field and stream has some but I refuse to pay their prices. it's ridiculous.

I haven't been to outdoorman since they did me wrong a year ago.... went in and bought a 1200$ rifle. guy was mounting a scope for me that I purchased and scratched the top of the barrel. I pointed it out and he said it was there already. I literally bought it from them 5 minutes previous... I inspected every inch of this rifle when I purchased it. it was an OBVIOUS 1 inch scratch right where the end of the scope was. they refused to fix it or replace the gun. I vowed to never do business there again.

That's a great price. I paid $499 for mine about 18 months ago.

It's my favorite pistol for riding around the lease. I haven't chronographed it yet but I will try this weekend. I'm pretty sure it's still considerably more stout than a 22LR.

22mag ammo is getting back down to $11-14 in angelo. Cheapest I found it back last week was at Field &Stream but I bought the last they had.
