low power scope for AR?

I'm looking to get a low power scope for my AR but not sure which way to lean. I have multiple vortex and Nikon rifle scopes but have not put my hands on low power scope.

Any advice on what to look for before I head to Bass Pro today?

Burris MTAC is a great one, and reasonably priced

I like the little Leupold Mark AR line of scopes, I but always have ended up putting atleast a 3-9 back on the AR's.

Vortex or a Leupold hog, then a Nikon. Haven't had the best of luck with one of my Nikons lately

Vortex strike eagle is a great scope and inexpensive. Love mine.

The strike eagle is cool but the reticle takes some getting used to. I have a razor 1-6 on mine and love it.

The Nikon 1-4x are nice scopes. Worth the money.

I have the SWFA 1x4 and i really like it. For the most part of you're in the $300 to $500 range it would be hard to beat the Vortex or SWFA, if you can pony up a bit more the leupold patrol or a higher end Vortex is pretty awesome too!

I have a burris fullfield tac 30 and have been really happy with it. Great price for a low power illuminated scope
