I am looking for opinions on:

Daniel Defense

Bravo Company

I have a budget of +\- $2,500 for the complete weapons system which would include optics. Primary purpose would be a defensive weapon.

I have several Primary Weapon Systems ARs. They are fantastic. The piston system resembles that of a AK so its really clean to shoot suppressed. I sold my SCARS for PWS'. In my opinion, piston systems are the future. As far as DI systems ive heard good things about Daniel Defence and LaRue and Noveske.

both are fine companies, but have you considered building an ar? for that kind of money you could have a really light accurate weapon.

Daniel Defense. In the 2 years I've had man I have yet to have a failure to feed. I have not tried anything but brass in it though.

For your purpose, Daniel defense. Not just saying it cause I own some but for an all around bulletproof defense rifle it's hard to beat. I also own larue, Noveske, Colt, bcm, Lmt and some other cheap ones.

Look up the Daniel defense torture tests. It's really something. Also notice they run aimpoints during the torture test. Take note of that when looking at an optic.

Daniel defense with aimpoint is my vote. Buy ammo and mags with the rest.
