If you had an extra 650 to spending an ar build what would build

Im no expert but i would get a Anderson lower with a psa blemished upper and find a cheap lpk and a quality barrel and bcg would put you real close to that then upgrade the cheap trigger group when you have the extra money

This trigger barrel and BCG are the only things that mater except for gas block (depending on cal and purpose)

That's a little less than I have in my lower alone, but, to build a cheep plinker, go with any $50 stripped lower then add a upper rifle build kit from SSA and you are done.

Anyone have experience with PSA's PA10 lowers? I believe some parts are proprietary, but I believe they otherwise fit the DPMS profile.

The only thing I can find that is proprietary is the take down and pivot pins and mag release. Otherwise, standard AR 15 lpk. Standard mil-spec buffer tube except I think it's a bit longer. They use standard "H" carbine buffers iirc, and supposedly mate up with DPMS style uppers.

I think the pa10 is a large frame lower I could be wrong tho won't work with a ar15 upper

If your wanting to build a 308ar it's gonna cost ya more than 650 I just ordered everything for mine and didn't use anything that was really high end and I'm at about 1800 for the build its self

Didn't realize you were not the op until after I posted lol sorry bout that yea I planed on staying under a grand and might could have with a cheaper but stock bcg trigger and barrel but told my self if I don't go ahead and get it now it will stay a mill spec 308ar I'm bad about saying I'll upgrade it later but always end up making myself get by with what I already have lol

I built this 8 inch 300 blkout SBR for under 600 not counting tax stamp and the eotech.

Bought the parts from Palmettostatearmory.com, midway USA and ebay. Shoots great.

                            Waiting for my suppressor now.
