Scope height mount question

I think I might have this somewhat narrowed down but need a little bit of assistance:

Remington 700 Sendero Sf2, 300 Rum
Scope will be Vortex 6-24x50
Rail will be Nightforce 1 piece, 20 MOA, picatinny style (357181) (or I could change)
Mounts is were I need assistance- thinking about Vortex Optics 30mm picatinny, 2 piece but hung up if I need highs, mids, or lows?

Will take any advice as the scope will be attached to a cannon

I like a full cross slot rail. If it's a side focus then 1" rings should work. I really like my scope low as possible. I really like the Burris xtr signature rings.

Most 50mm need high rings

All of my rifles with a pic rail with 30mm tubes and 50mm+ Objectives don't need high rings. I used nightforce, seekins, Burris, and vortex low rings
