Help w/ballisitics or new target design....

I lined up some tennis balls about 25 yds out. I hit some and when I set them back in line I noticed the bullets were on the ground in good shape w/rifling grooves being the only damage. The balls were not pierced. Any physics guys out there ? Sorry misspelled ballistics...

I would go with you actually hit under the balls and it appeared that you hit them. Also if the bullets hit dirt (no rocks) it is not uncommon for pistol bullets to look almost reshootable.

Perhaps, but usually they are embedded. I wish I had done more research..
