Having a Barrel Threaded?

When you have a barrel threaded on a bolt action gun does the scope have to be removed?
Thanks

If threading through the headstock, it's length and spindle diameter would determine that. Yes I most cases the scope has to be removed as do some trigger assemblies. Just depends on the size of the lathe and if a spider is used.
