How are you guys smoothing out the action without disrupting lug lockup? I hate the zipper sound when working the bolt.

I have not done it yet but I just watched a YouTube where a guy used bore polishing compound (J and B maybe???) and worked the action a BUNCH! This was on a Ruger American and it really polished it up and smoothed it out. When I get back to my office I can post a link.
