    Well. Went to take the butt stock off and noticed a new crack. Not wood this time. Really starting to wonder what my FIL did with this thing.

    Any suggestions for this??

      Wow - as they would say in Jamaica: "...he did da bad ting, mon". I think that would need a gunsmith's attention. I've had good luck with Hank Fleming here in Austin, TX:

        if have a tig welder or if you have someone that does you fix with that

          Yeah. Wonder if there is a DFW gunsmith that is good at a repair like this.

            A good welder can fix that!!Someone used the butt as a battering ram or to knock out a bad guy! Had a nephew do that with one of my guns. Tried to break up an old rotter stump.Lucky no damage! He never used another gun of mine.

              I have a old 94 of my great granddad's that a horse rolled over on and someone brazed it back together with a big glob of brass. Not much to look at but still shoots well. Like mentioned before a good tig welder can fix that.
