Seems to be very affective with 155 grain xtp underwood ammo and a 5" barrel.

I busted a 165 lb bore hog at 30 yards with my m&p 180 XTP. It really put the hurt on him with the shot straight into the shoulder. The one that followed went into his right eye and the straight into the brain pan. Neither exited. I'm gonna put an RMR on it and try and shoot a doe this year. Gonna use an 180 HST though.
