I absolutely love my weatherby 257's I have one in the vanguard deluxe model which they don't make anymore and one in the mark v model they are just safe queens lol. I actually need to get on with a synthetic stock that I wouldn't be afraid to take out in the brush and not worry about scratches and bruises

I was the same way with my Win 70 25-06 CRF until I got a replacement Bell and Carlson. Now it goes out about 20% of the time instead of the 0%.
