Form 4 lost

Well I submitted my form 4 around the first of February. Got an email that said the check was never cashed. It was all taken care of through a dealer so I didn't write the check.

We are going to resubmit the forms and everything with a letter that will supposedly speeds up the process.

I generally send this stuff off and forget about it, I paced the floor on my first one years ago, I don't do that anymore.

Has anyone had to go through this before and will the letter help at all since they never got it in the first place?

Hope mine didn't get lost. I did mine in February also. Which dealer did you use? Curious if it was the same one you used.

My dad filled last August and still hasn't received his. Starting to get pretty mad about it. So far the ATF hasn't responded to anything, and the dealer is pretty much taking her sweet time with everything.

This isn't the dealers fault at all, they are good people. This is incompetence of the government whether it be the US postal service or the ATFE.

Form 4 lost

Please don't think I was wanting to bash a dealer. My dad also purchased a suppressor from the same place I did. The ATF contacted my dad about his purchase, he purchased his exactly a week before I did, and said they had a problem on their end dealing with credit card purchases. The dealer did everything correct on their end. They were just making sure they had all the correct info.
