I've been wanting to get some custom dust covers for my 6.8 SPC and .223 Wylde. My .300 Blackout already had one, and each time I look at the other two, it makes me want the dust covers more. It just makes things easier when I tell my wife or son to "Grab the 6.8", so I don't get the "Which one is the 6.8?" response.

So, on the 8th of this month, I ordered from a site I had never used before. CustomARdustcover.com. Their site stated, "Usually, products ship by the next business day." I ordered these on the 8th of this month, expecting them to ship on the 11th or 12th, as that would be the Monday / Tuesday following the weekend. I went on a business trip, expecting them to be at my house by the time I returned. I got home on the 16th - they weren't there.

On the 18th, I got an email from them, notifying me that "Your order is in processing". Wait. It's been 10 days (6 business days with the two weekends), and my order is just now "processing"???

So I waited a couple days, figuring if they went by the processing day to base their "ship by the next business day" that I should have a shipping notice by the 19th or 20th, but I have not received anything.

I emailed them today. Just wanted to know if anyone has had any good / bad dealings with them.

I haven't used them, but I've had two custom dust covers made from tacticalgunparts.net and they literally make them the following day and they're shipped asap. I forgot to message them once and they literally called me within hours to ask what else they were putting on one of mine. Their customer service is top notch I MO.

Thank you. I'll keep that in mind if I end up needing another company to make these. I'll give the company I ordered from a few days to reply to my email, and hopefully they will give me an estimate on when I can expect them (or when they will refund my money).

They emailed me back today, just before 2pm. Short email:

You should have them in a day or so.

Got them yesterday. 15 days after ordering (10 working days). They wrapped them together in a piece of ripped brown paper (looked like part of a paper shopping bag), and put them in an envelope. Although I got what I ordered, I don't think I'll be using that company in the future.

Man, I'm glad they finally came in. I thought to ask when I received my newest custom order for the 6.8 and you still hadn't received yours. Hopefully the fit and finish makes up for all the shipping hassle!
