                          6.5 Grendel is my favorite AR15 caliber.

                          I'm just hoping I can get these 129 ABLR bullets to shoot in it. Ballistics look very promising and if the low velocity expansion threshold is true as claimed it will be a fantastic Bullet for the Grendel.

                            I still think they are gonna be to dang slow to expand like I would want em to.

                            My buddy was running SST's. He like you he likes bonded bullets. But they just were not opening up much. My little girl is shooting SST's out of her 6.8 also. We got an exit at 188 yards with em on a 1/4 too shot.

                              So far I'm seeing almost 2600fps from a 20" barrel. ALLEGEDLY the low expansion threshold on them is 1300 fps.

                              Even assuming that is not the case and let's say it's 1500fps, that gets me to 850'ish yards.
