I have found each gun and each different lead often respond differently using the same powder. Even though there are powders that will work on a variety of calibers they may not be as accurate as you may want.. Try a recommended load then load 2 grains up and two grains down to see if there is a difference in accuracy.. Play with one caliber at first before moving on to the others. Read any reference material you can find on reloading.

i have to disagree-no such thing as one powder that does it all (unique might be an exception-at least regarding cast bullets).

get a reloading manual (any one) and see what powders cross reference for each caliber you want to load. understand this though- you won't have the best at anything if you try to use one for everything.

If you're just looking for something to go bang, yes you can use one powder. If you are looking to optimize loads, no. Different calibers, different bullets, different rifles will perform better with different powders.
