There's a Mdl 81 in 30 Rem for sale at Gunmaster in Plano right now.

I see some of the 30cals at shows almost every time I go. I've been looking for a Rem Model 8 in 35Rem to add to my collection. And see the .30 Rem quite a bit. My great grandfather bought a Model 8 in .35Rem when they first came out. And that's what my grandfather grew up deer hunting with for a while. That rifle got stolen when my dad was a youth. I've been shooting .35Rem in a 14" T/C for about 25 years now. And know it's potential. Thought I'd add one back in the family.

The .30Rem is a good cartridge. Like having a 30-30 in semi auto.
