Finishing up my sbr build soon and started getting components for reloading .300 blackout. I'd like to have at least 1000 rounds on hand for plinking and am trying to find the cheapest bullets. I'm just talking about bullets for the range. Not for hunting. Anyone have any leads?

You could also hunt for pulled military bullets. I've found them on gunbroker and hi tec ammo has some occaisionally.
www.gunbot.net could help you, too.

If you're really bored you can watch me test some 150 grain Win PPFN out of my little Handi SBR.
What I didn't show was the first round fired was loaded a whole grain short due to misreading the lines on my powder scale and it only made it as far as the muzzle.Last edited by Gunnyart; 02-26-2016, 08:36 AM.

I was pretty sure I was starting with a safe load (except for the mistaken load) and I started "can off" so I could check for stability then I was looking for noise.
Now that I'm in the ballpark I'll get more serious about accuracy and speed.
